Our livestock

Our Cows

We proudly raise Murray Grey cattle — an intentional choice, as they are known to be one of the most balanced cattle breeds. They produce exceptional quality steak, delicious milk, and are famously easy to handle.

We are proud that our herd is not only easy to work with, but also brings us joy, feeds our family, and plays a vital role in helping us cultivate and regenerate topsoil. They are an integral part of our circular ecosystem, contributing to the health of our land and the future of sustainable farming.

If you would like to purchase a Murray Grey, please fill out the inquiry form, and we will follow up with you. We look forward to hearing from you!

our Layers chickens

For our layers, we love variety. It’s so much fun to watch different breeds of chickens foraging around, each with their own personality and beautiful eggs.

We have Easter Eggers, Plymouth Rocks, Brahmas, Polish, Leghorns, Orpingtons, Sebrights, Japanese Bantams, and of course, Silkies — we just can’t imagine life without the adorable Silkies! We also have New Hampshire Reds, and we’re always on the lookout for new breeds to add to our family of layers.

Every day feels like a treasure hunt as we collect colorful eggs in all shades and sizes.

Our roosters are part of the family too — they protect and watch over our hens. Each rooster has his own unique traits, and we love them all.

Right now, we have about 40 layers, but we are growing! By the end of the year, we plan to have 500 layers — enough to feed ourselves, our family, our friends, and our farmers market customers.

our meat chickens

We grow Cornish Cross chickens in small batches between 25 to 100 birds — just enough to feed our family, friends, and farmers market customers. Their lives may be short, but they live them well, and we believe they are truly happy.

During the day, they enjoy being outside, foraging freely. Since we do not use herbicides or pesticides, our chickens thrive in a chemical-free environment full of dynamic life — juicy bugs, diverse herbs, and native plants.

We genuinely love facilitating a happy, natural life for them and always harvest with deep gratitude — honoring their being and their purpose in nourishing humans.
